Description of Service

dodoqq is a community platform that helps the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community discover accessible events, open-caption movie showtimes, and Deaf-serving organizations. Browsing and standard accounts are free; organizers may offer paid tickets and memberships through the Service.

User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false or misleading event information
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Scrape or extract data from the Service without permission
• Impersonate another person or organization

Tickets, Memberships, and Payments

• Prices, currency, quantities, and any platform or organizer charges are shown before purchase.
• Stripe processes payment details; dodoqq does not store complete card numbers.
• Organizations are responsible for the events, benefits, and memberships they offer.
• Recurring memberships renew at the displayed interval until cancelled.
• Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless stated otherwise.
• Refund eligibility depends on the organizer's policy and applicable law; approved refunds return through the original payment method.

Donations

Donations are voluntary and processed through Stripe. They are non-refundable unless required by law. Unless a recipient expressly states otherwise, do not assume a donation is tax-deductible; obtain independent tax advice.

Event Information

We strive to provide accurate event information but cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of event listings. Event details are provided by organizers and third-party sources. Always verify event details with the organizer before attending.

Event cancellation, postponement, accessibility, admission, and fulfillment questions should be directed to the organizer. dodoqq may assist with platform records but does not control an organizer's performance.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by dodoqq and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, dodoqq shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
